Manager Airfreight Export Intra Asia - KUEHNE - NAGEL Group

Responsibilities
•Managing the daily workflow of airfreight Asia Pacific team
•Monitoring / supervising the work tasks for the areas under the responsible section
•Strategic route development, pricing and solution development
•Achieve operational excellence and actively pursue the development of airfreight products, predominately but not exclusively to Asia Pacific region
•Maintaining a high-end communication approach within the team and overseas
•Ongoing monitoring of carrier performance for all shipments falling into Asia Pacific regions. Taking care of spaces and rate negotiations with carriers
•Customer reporting based on internal systems
•Reviewing and analyzing monthly P/L and customer reports. Keeping track records of gained and lost business / trade lanes, analyzing the profitability of individual accounts, making suggestions on rates and services
•Maintaining track records of updated SOPs of individual account handled by the team
•Ongoing control of credit notes, checks and approval of incoming invoices
•Handling of RFIs and RFQs for respective lanes within the Asia Pacific regions
•Budget preparation
•Training, coaching and motivating staff in order to create a professionally acting business environment

Requirements
•F.7 or above
•Minimum 8 years’ experience in airfreight industry
•Excellent supervisory, managerial abilities and communication skills
•Familiar with overall export operation procedures
•Familiar with airfreight market and industry practices
•Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
