Your roles


To be accountable for the establishment, finance, management and operation of APAS
To lead the development of APAS, manage funded projects and promote commercialization of the results to the automotive industry
To identify research directions according to market potential
To identify target markets and users for further commercialization of projects in automotive industry
To forecast the market trend, raise project research fund by industry partners and market development in Hong Kong, Mainland China and overseas
To forecast the market trend, solicit projects and raise research fund through industry participation
To assist local industry to enter the automotive parts supply chain in Hong Kong, Mainland China and overseas markets
Our expectations

Degree in Science of Engineering, PhD Degree holder preferred
At least 10 years of experience related to the automotive industry with minimum 5 years in senior level management position
In-depth understanding of the global automotive and components technology trends, markets, standards and regulations
Experience in managing R&D and commercialization projects
Good network with technology users, automobile companies, research institutes and universities in Hong Kong, overseas and the Mainland
Entrepreneurial skills and experience in starting up business are advantages
Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua
This is a contract position.
