Senior Section Head - Bank of China

Responsibilities:
Achieve business objectives in the development of securities products, including securities, securities margin, IPO and futures in order to optimize products' profitability and portfolio mix in satisfying customer needs
Formulate product based marketing plans to enhance products sales and brand equity
Evaluate internal and external business aspects to generate new ideas on product features developments
Review and prepare reports on business performance, including examine the effectiveness of business plan and marketing program, for management to foster new product and optimum retention of existing business
Monitor product delivery and service level requirement of securities business.
Ensure distribution of securities products are in bank-wide perspective and in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements
Coordinate training on securities products to business units to ensure effective selling
Handle ad hoc projects as assigned by management

Requirements:
Degree with major in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Statistics or related discipline
Professional qualification in financial management or investment related discipline such as CFP, CFA, MPF or HKSI will be an asset
At least 7 years experience in Banking or Financial industry, 3 years of which must be hands-on Product Development experience
Strong analytical capability and sound experience in Research and Market Analysis.
Good knowledge of securities products and their current market trend of development will be an advantage
Able to operate analytical and statistical tools
Self-motivated, independent and with excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, knowledge in Mandarin preferred
